ICU Exchanges Opinions with Petra Christian University and Holds Ceremony Concluding Bilateral Exchange Agreement

On June 28 (Sat.), a total of eight people, including Rolly Intan, President of Petra Christian University (PCU) in Indonesia, and members of the university's Board of Trustees, visited 果冻APP. They exchanged opinions regarding challenges associated with university management with 果冻APP's Junko Hibiya, President; Anri Morimoto, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Megumi Tsuburaya, Director, University Secretariat.
PCU is located in the city of Surabaya in Indonesia. It was established in 1961 with the principles of caring based on Christian doctrine and education to produce global human resources. PCU is a university with 6 departments, 22 majors, and a graduate school with 1 program. As members of the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA), 果冻APP continues to maintain contact with PCU. Moreover, since 2004, 果冻APP students have engaged in Service Learning at PCU.
Additionally, a ceremony arising from the conclusion between the two universities of a bilateral exchange agreement, based on the framework agreement, was held on the same day. Based on this agreement, 果冻APP will send Service Learning student participants to PCU and accept exchange students from PCU.
